Off We Go to Fairy-Fairy-Fairytail, am i right?

At this time I would try to revise my opinion in connection with the situation, the amazing and amusing circumstances in Dubai. Lets first with a point: its fairytale is ont he point of Earth where the climate is very hot, perchance i have to say: unbearable for lots of people. But those citizens live in Dubai are very tenacity, and have got a bid fair imagines about the future of this area.

If You think about the present world economy situation, as You take a view on the surgeoning oil prices, you have to make a consequence: Dubai will be in bigger blossom in the near future, in spite of attributes of its dreary space.

According to Géza Németh’s newest book (~The World is too big~) the welfare is very volatile and its outlook is very unpredictable from numerous reason.

If we would like to understand the meanings the mentioned standpoint, we have to go back in mind for the roots of United Arabian Emirates. Firstly, the well-known formation of the UAE came to the fruition in 1971 in the course of making alliance among Al Fuyajrah, Ajman, Ash Sharikah, Ras al Khaymah, Umm al Qaywayn, as well as Abu-Dhabi and Dubai. By the way, neither these area nor some other didn’t come through the colonization process in the XVI. century. Portugese were the first on these region, who levied tax, quotas, and customs on ships circument between Persian Gulf and India.

Initially inhabitants had been doing pearl fishing, but after years the pearl fully lost its value, depreciated. Due to this process, they became unemployment stricken people, faced widen with poverty. Discovering the oil in Gulf was the great cusp. Sheik of Abu-Dhabi made concession for brittish, to begin the oil extraction in 1939, but they didn’t find any oil. The oil extraction could begin (and its export) in bigger scale in 1962. It seems its effect were huge, we can say, the developing effects happened overnight.

Dubai is the only one who doesn’t thank its welfare for oil extraction among countries formed UAE. Dubai’s oil export contributes with 6% to GDP. But, the upcoming question is: What the heck is going on Dubai? Dubai’s welfare grounds on its free trade zones, its harbors which are provided with wide logistic apparatus, its banking-system, and of course: turism. I have been posting many times about the huge, unbelievable enterprises which are going in Dubai (SkyMall, and so on).

People in Dubai don’t working (i mean it for citizens), they always get a certain volume of dirham from government (about 3000$). But, in generally, gaining citizenship is impossible. More than 80% of People living in Dubai are foreigners.

When we drive over on bumphump, I can’t think any other stuff only „jesus christ, they are really reach, if it is possible, i might go down to Dubai for any work, even if it’d be a speed bump”. But, Géza Németh added: due to the terrible climate he must be die in days.

I add: i dont think so :) has to be the money, gold for what my anatomy, my organizm will survive even if i have to cope with 50C in the shade.
